A poem to go along with Fair Game :)

Nate the Snake

Nate the snake lives life as a fake.
He breaks his dates while they fall for his traits.
You wait and wait for him to awake, but he never awakes and it makes you irrate.
Since Nate loves to rake in his bait, he'll take and take until it's to late.
For goodness sake, he'll never find a mate because Nate's fate is based on his mistakes.
So don't wait for Nate because based on his traits all it will bring is aches and heartbreaks.

I'm proud to write the first comment on your new blog. Sounds like you have a few things to say about a troubled love affair which always makes great writing in my opinion. There's nothing like a relationship turned sour to get the creativity flowing. The good ones (writers) always have a tendency towards being a tad dramatic when it comes to divulging life experiences in text. Tragic Drama = Mad Cash.

I wish you luck with your book and I look forward to reading some more posts.

Thanks Neil! Actually, the peom was written for my sister who has had lots and lots of trouble with relationships! Hm, haven't heard that good writers are dramatic, but if it makes them good, I hope I am! :) I tried to click on your name to see if you had a blog, but it says that I can't view??!

No blog, but I may start one in the near future. You have inspired me to think about it, haha.
